Trying to remember exactly what sparked my interest in watching this documentary first on my list…It took me back to a time when I was kid. All of these singers were very much a part of my vernacular back then. Let me back up a bit, as I’ve been reading and listening to podcasts I was going to cancel all of my viewing subscriptions when it occurred to me I can keep my Netflix account and consume documentaries. People are always talking about this doc or that doc and I like to learn about new things, so why not.
Cut back to The Greatest Night in Pop, I don’t want to ruin or spoil anything for anyone who hasn’t seen it. I know what some of you are thinking this has been around forever but for those of you just crawling out from under a rock like me, no spoilers. I will say it was a delightful documentary. There is a shared moment between Bob Dillion and Stevie Wonder that is incredible, a moment with Cyndi Lauper that is hilarious, and a moment with Sheila E. that was sad and disappointing for her. Don’t overthink it just watch it.

you can find Unbroken Chain on YouTube…. boy was this a wild ride. They are one of my favorite all time bands. I knew there were challenges within the band personally but this took some turns I didn’t know.
I knew this one was going to be disturbing and I held off for a while but then decided I needed to watch it. It is unbelievable what some folks get away with and also how horrible people can be.
I had no idea the show Succession so closely paralleled this real life family. Such a sad story and money really doesn’t make you happy. I stand by that.
If you are a fan or can’t live without certain big box stores do not watch this…Not gonna name any names but definitely changes my consumer habits.
This one is on Netflix, Audrey Hepburn was introduced to me as a girl by my grandma and for nostalgic reasons I watched. So much grace and class!
I’m gonna go out on a limb and really share my honest opion not about this documentary but about Tyra…WOW! Talk about pulling back the curtain. I’m curious if she did this and thought it would paint her in a better light? It in fact did not. She half assedlly acknowledged she did some bad things, but never came near owning the terrible things she said, did, and subjected those girls. It is a train wreck you cannot stop watching.
This one really hit home, this happened in Salt Lake City at a time I was raising my own 4 kids. Horrifying to know what this woman was put through.
